Project Overview
Tech Talk (Tech Talk: An N Pale Teknoloji, "Let's talk technology") is a podcast about technology in Haitian Creole. Each episode brings guests and panelists together on a topic, from Starlink and credit cards to social media management and artificial intelligence, along with open-mic episodes where the panel takes on the news.
The website is the podcast's home: the latest episodes, a page for each episode and each panelist, and links to listen on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio and YouTube.
The Challenge
The podcast needed a simple, fast site in Creole that puts the episodes first, works well on phones, and points listeners to the platforms they already use, without a database or a back office to maintain.
The Solution
We built the site with React and TanStack Start.
- Static and fast: every page is generated ahead of time, so the site loads quickly and costs almost nothing to run.
- Episodes first: the home page lists the latest episodes, and each episode and each panelist has its own page.
- Listen anywhere: links to Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio and YouTube on every page.
- In Creole: the whole site is written in Haitian Creole, the podcast's language.
